This 5 face ganesh idol stone shows Panchmukhi Ganesha seated with five elephant faces fanned out, the central face the largest, under a big round prabhavali carved with a lotus-petal border. He sits with legs folded on a round lotus base and holds a small bowl of sweets in his upper right hand. Devotees know the five faced form as Panchmukhi Ganesha, who is worshipped for the five directions.

How We Make This Panchmukhi Ganesh

Our karigars carve this idol by hand from grey-beige stone with soft pink patches, and they leave it unpainted so the stone shows as it is. Each head wears its own tall mukut with fine ornament. Look at the rope band carved around his belly, which many shoppers miss. Armbands, bracelets and necklaces are cut into the body. Two small figures sit at his lower left and right. The idol is 1 Feet tall, a good size for a shelf or a small pooja corner. Wipe it with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from harsh cleaners. When a diya burns in front of it, the pink patches in the stone glow softly and the carved lines catch the light.

Why Janijatra Picked This One

We choose each stone idol as if it is going into our own pooja room. Need a taller Ganesh or a pair for another room? Our karigars can carve it to your size. Message us with any question you have.

The Art of Handcrafted Heritage

Every piece offered at Janijatra is an original work of art, handcrafted by skilled artisans who carry forward Odisha's centuries-old traditions of Pattachitra and Tala Patra Chitra. Each stroke is made by hand, making every creation distinct, soulful, and impossible to replicate exactly.

Made Exclusively for You

The artwork displayed in the image is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted piece. As our creations are individually made, the exact piece shown may already be sold or may not be currently available. Should you place an order, a new piece will be specially handcrafted for you with the same care and detail.

Being entirely handmade, slight variations in colour, fine detailing, or finish may appear when compared to the original image. These subtle differences are not flaws — they are the signature of authentic, handcrafted art, and a mark of the human touch behind every piece.

Thoughtful Packaging & Safe Delivery

We understand that each artwork is precious. Every piece is carefully packed using protective materials to ensure it reaches you in pristine condition. Fragile creations are given special attention, with secure wrapping and reinforced packaging designed to safeguard the artwork throughout its journey to your doorstep.

Caring for Your Artwork

To preserve the beauty of your piece for years to come, a few simple steps go a long way. For paintings on cloth and palm leaf, keep your artwork away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture, as these may affect the natural colours over time. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, and avoid using water or chemical cleaners. For traditional palm leaf (Tala Patra) works, store in a dry environment to maintain the integrity of the leaf.

Stone artworks are durable by nature and can be placed both indoors and outdoors, making them a beautiful addition to gardens, balconies, and open spaces as well as interior settings.
