This pink stone Ganesh murti shows Lord Ganesh seated with his trunk curved to one side, one hand resting near his lap and other hands holding a noose and his broken tusk. His mouse sits at his feet before a tall, carved arch filled with small figures and lotus patterns. Ganesh is worshipped as the remover of obstacles, and this form carries that tradition in full detail.

Pink Stone Ganesh Murti, 3 Feet

Our karigars hand carve this piece from pink stone, standing 3 feet tall from base to crown. Look closely and you will find layers of work: the crown rises into a peak with a small finial, flanked by carved makara faces at the top. Below, an arch of lotus petals frames Ganesh, with coiled serpent forms running along its edges. Small attendant figures stand on either side at the base, and a row of carved elephants lines the bottom tier of the platform. The stone has a soft pink tone throughout, with every fold of cloth, every bead of ornament, and every petal shaped by hand. This size suits a temple hall, a courtyard niche, or a large puja room where the piece can be seen from a distance. The detailed crown and petal carvings make this piece stand out in any setting.
